Oinam’s Kiss – Templates for MovableType, TypePad, LiveJournal, WordPress

The discussion of a general design theme came up amongst the team and we realized that we wanted a simple, a very simple design. So, we decided to have a KISS theme. The final verdict was to do a universal template so it can be used in WordPress and Movable Type. As we followed the Six Apart’s Movable Type Template Schema, the template can also be used on TypePad and LiveJournal installations.

    Hi!! I don´t have much experience on CSS and design but thanks to your tips I´m using “kiss”. Is my favourite. Thanks a lot for your job. I wonder when you´ll create a Kiss template with 3 columns, main on the left. Regards.

    Probably the most stylish “clean” template I’ve ever seen (and I’ve seen almost all of them). I’m gonna use it for my new WP blog.

    hi,
    i’ve downloaded your kiss theme for wordpress and i love it vey mutch but i have a little but annoying problem with it:
    i’ve added some plugins to the sidebar. no problems. but when i click on the links (for example i’ve added the useronline plugin and clicking on it will open the page wp-useronline.php) that they open, the displayed page is bad formatted: the informations are well described, but the fonts, the dimension of the caracters the allignment is very different with the rest of the blog…
    what is happening? any idea?
    doesn’t the teme support plugins pages?
    what can i do to fix this issue?
    what can can i edit??
    i post also the screenshot of the problem..

    Nice theme! I was wondering if there is some kind of license for it (GNU, Creative Commons, etc.) and if you would consider giving permission to create and distribute a localizable version for WordPress. By the way, your download links are broken

    What a simple yet thoroughly functional theme. I love it. I’ve already switched to it.

    Just wondering if it’s possible to include a footer, and how. I’ve tried messing around with footer.php, but I guess the stylesheet didn’t include an entry for the footer.

    I would appreciate any help you could offer. Thanks!

    Krishna, the theme is provided free and opensource, if you need to modify – well then that is your job or that of a designer. We would not be in a position to customize/modify for everybody. If there are bugs, we’ll try to fix it.

    Btw, you may continue to discuss at the forum specific to this theme and someone may be ready to help you.

    hmm, now the files are down? i can’t download it…. :-(
    (the error is called “The requested URL /mint/pepper/orderedlist/downloads/download.php was not found on this server.”)
    –
    i downloaded it this morning, and it was fine. then i installes it on my wordpress-blog and became there an error, that an stylesheet is missing…)

    Hmm, this download counter pepper for Mint was causing problems before and it is doing again. I’ve removed that pepper altogether, and you should be able to download the files now.
